Designer note
Built at the table, one race at a time.
RaceCards began with a kid's love of cars and grew through years of family games, revisions, friends, and blind playtests.
The game has taken several forms: early card-sliding experiments, nightly family races, and the current tabletop track version. Every version has pushed toward the same goal: a race that is easy to start, tense to resolve, and loud at the finish line.
The print-and-play kit is the first public lap. It includes the rules, cards, track tiles, cars, car tokens, and Fuel tokens so players can try the game now while the premium physical version continues to develop.
That premium version is planned around full-color cards, snap-fit plastic track pieces, custom dice, and a more durable table presence. Playtest feedback from the print-and-play kit helps shape that next season.
